A new opera production is being prepared in a theater near Naples. The three prima donnas Fiordispina, Merlina and Doralba require lots of money, beautiful costumes and virtuosic arias. It is hard to satisfy them – not only for the librettist and the composer but also for the frustrated impresario Don Crisobolo. Will he be able to overcome all challenges and perform the opera?
