JS Web apps - Angularjs - $Resource to talk to the Rest API

We will make a Service to talk to our Rest API using the $resource from angularjs services.
In the end we will be able to save a new syllabus in the database.

Sorry maybe im Braindead at the moment but how can i get Datas from a Datatable?
I followed the videos and when we use :endpoint it creats a new Datatable in the Database.
Everything working fine. But now i wanna connect to one taht allraedy exists?
Hows that going ?

-- User // created ourself allways with yo generator using :endpoint
-- MyTableExample // allready existing, how do i connect now to it to save/delete/update files? cause by using :endpoint MyTableExample it creates a new table and not auto connectin to it or says where i can do cahnges so im connected to it.

You speak everything except $resource.... what is params, is required, optional etc
