I have in the past used a very simple technique where I scrape away the acrylic paint with a spatula type tool, unsophisticated of course but over smaller surfaces has worked ok for me. (Im not in you league though😉)

Just curious, why did you clear and reapply the chipping fluid between each color? BTW it looked great when finished.

Did you need to thin the chipping fluid for use in the air brush? If so what should I use as thinner?

it is work with enamel paints. testors for example?
