Current high school and college students don't have the time to recover from cumulative stress, and we are often blamed for not being able to put up with stress

I know this may sound a bit cheesy, but I'm stressed about whether or not I can chose what I love doing or just chose a harder approach but a practical one. I'm talking about my future course.

I'm very stressed lately. I am a good student in school and constantly have to pick up my grades. I also feel pressure as my parents and brother have COVID-19. I hope everyone who has stress feels better! Just know that you have people who love you <3
(Edit: Thank you to everyone who wishes me well! I hope you all stay safe and get past all the negativity and be surrounded by happiness <3)

Sometimes my family and surrounding stressors give me so much anxiety and pent up rage that I’m always waiting for an opportunity to find a room away from everyone else and just sit in a corner and cry it a ball. I’ve got bad anger issues but with therapy the only thing that’s changed is that I don’t take it out on those who hurt/provoke me and instead I just keep it building up inside until I can’t handle it anymore.

I wish I didn’t relate so much to the internal resentment one; I think that’s my main cause of stress :(

Has anyone else been experiencing all the above in some points of their life with no exception? And some of them together during the same time? If so, I'm telling you that you're not the only one! It's hard, I know, but this is a blessing in disguise. As there's no endless storm, this will cease to exist one day. And that day, you will realise how stronger you are than you thought of yourself, and how this has made you become a wiser and a better person 😊 As one who is still struggling with this every day, I'm telling you, I know how you feel! You don't deserve a life like this, definitely not you, because you're a charming and beautiful person, inside and out, and the society has made us focus on so many trifle things, such as appearence, status, money, good grades, etc. that we have forgotten what is really important for our soul, and what really matters in life. It's not their fault, they just cannot notice your charisma, because they have been taught to focus their view elswhere and value other things, which are actually empty, but little do they know. So, don't feel sad about that and please, try your best to ignore them. All the attention you're offering to them, try and turn it all on yourself. Discover yourself, learn your qualities better, forgive yourself for all the past mistakes and give your soul a warm embrace. And, should you notice there might be something that needs to change, and you can do something about it, do that for your own good only. But if you are not the one who can work on a specific change, then try to accept it and stop worrying about it. This is not an easy thing to do, and you will probably relapse many times on the way, as I told you, I know the struggle. But the relief you will feel once you get the handle of all these, will be the most wonderful gift you could ever offer to yourself 😊🤗💖 Let's go together, work our way to achieve piece and harmony with ourselves and all our surroundings! I'm sending you love, an embrace, and a prayer so that all the positive vibes to reach out to you! 🤗💖🥰😊 Have faith, my friend, and don't be afraid of the moments when you fall, we will make it!

I’m extremely stressed and having panic attacks. I never used to have them until March of 2018. I ended up in a coma for almost a month because I had a brain infection. The doctors didn’t know what was causing it and therefore didn’t know what to give me to make me better. While I was in the coma, I was having strokes and seizures and the doctors were telling my kids that they needed to start planning for me to not make it. Well I came out of the coma and now suffer from seizures and full blown panic attacks and I never had either one before I was in the coma. I have had a really tough time trying to find a doctor that will write me a prescription for my panic attacks but I do have medicine for the seizures. I have been going through the attacks for a few days now and it’s so very very scary! I just wonder if there’s anything over the counter that will help me out...

They all relate to me but Number 1 & 5 relate to me the most as I always have a fear of not having enough money for rent and then being kicked out. I had such a traumatic upbringing and unfortunately I don't have much of a relationship with my family because it's toxic when we're all together because we all clash. We can tolerate each other but we all end up arguing and it's just awful. Even day to day, I get stressed with my family because as much as you keep your distant, they're still your blood.

I can agree with number 3, I’ve been empathetic to a degree and can respond to certain home stresses when there’s tension or stress in the house. Also financial stress of worrying about having enough to save up when things unexpectedly come up that you don’t expect.

I’m definitely #3. I’m stressed about the riots here and the lack of awareness for COVID... I’m also going through a life change. I was on tour as a pro figure skater finally living my dream and that was taken away from me because of COVID. And since that industry will not return anytime soon, I’m stressed out trying to pick something to do with my life next :( i also have a family member recovering from cancer. 7. I definitely have negative beliefs towards life. I feel so hopeless especially now. ... with the state of our world and how toxic people are currently. I’m pretty worn out and need a break from social media.
