But I understand what he means. I read the Kotonoha no Niwa novel and he did so much more that what he had time in the movie, the movie is still amazing and reading the novel you realize he already had all of this in mind when making the movie, but just couldn't fit it (of course this one was much shorter than Your Name, but I guess the feeling is the same).

i honestly think it's still a masterpiece for the reason that it's my favorite anime movie ever. I knew that movie back in 2018 and i imediatly fell in love with the movie (not literally lmao). It's a movie SO GOOD that recomanded that movie to one of my closest friend who loves animes!
