the entire casting in the Dark Knight trilogy was BRILLIANT. Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow, Heath Ledger as Joker, Tom Hardy as Bane, Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Absolutely brilliant

He was great joker. For everyone saying it was his last role or that it killed him your wrong. He had mental health issues to begin with and he was film the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus. That was his last film and the one he was filming when he died. He was a great actor and deserves more than ignorance and internet rumors

I'm sorry, but Heath Ledger as Batman 2005 would have been an Epic Fail . He didn't have the look for that role . Christian Bale brought that Dapper Good Looking American Psycho Smug Arrogant Douche kind of Personality to Chris Nolan's Batman which was Great . When Christian was in the Bat Tank laying on his chest in that Weapons Pod of the Tank driving the Tank or Shooting Weapons from it, that was so cool . Christian looked like the Batman . He was really good at Sword Play and his own Martial Arts Stunts as well that Heath Ledger wouldn't have been able to pull off .

I would have prefered Willem Dafoe in the same Makeup Design as Jack Nicholson's Version as the Joker opposite Christian Bale in the Dark Knight .

Wow things would have been so different if he said yes to being Batman. We are so lucky he said no because my goodness he was incredible as the joker in the Dark Knight which is my favorite movie of all time. It's so sad that Heath ledger died before he could see that role on the screen. A lot of people seem to think it's because of playing the joker driving him nuts but it turned out it was actually a complete accident.

He was much older than me when he died. But looking back, he wasn't even 30. Im much older than him now. He had a great talent.
