It’s heartbreaking not just because Heath’s death was a tragic loss and that he couldn’t receive his Oscar, but many of the people in that room had either suffered addiction or were vulnerable to it due to the industry. Anyone in that room could have been gone like Heath. It’s scary to think about that. Drugs are such a horrible problem in the film industry.
