I don’t know if it’s a personal thing but I almost never trust the photo swatches a brand put on their website I will always double check by going to TikTok or YouTube and seeing it LIVE on someone close to my complexion!!

Monica, I’m 15, seeing that you are finding it hard to get makeup that is a good match for you makes it incredibly difficult for me to believe it will be better in the future. I’m brown, Indian, I am a tad lighter that you and if our shades are disregarded it’s disheartening. I really believe you should begin your own makeup brand. Empower all brown queens!!! ❤❤❤

I’m super surprised they didn’t have like a deep dark brown for the deep dark peeps, like I feel like if it’s fenty they should have a lip liner that’s like as close to like a black brown as would make sense on human skin (not like another literally black foundation fiasco moment, but like a dark dark espresso colour). If anyone was going to go there you would think it would be fenty, but I feel like that deepest shade is not that deep. Unless there were more they didn’t send you?

I'm not a brown girlie, I'm more medium and light-med in winter and I have the same problem with lipsticks and lip liners. The shade never ever looks the same on my lips as it does on the model with medium skintone.
