My mom was disgusting and dirty(she still is) but one time it was so bad. Not as bad as these people but bad. I took out humus from the fridge and 3 seconds layers they were on it. They were in the tv, computers, anything electronic. One time I took a cup of ice water to school and it had roaches when I opened it. It sucks because I couldn’t ever invite a friend over. Now I have OCD and feel depressed if my house is a little dirty. If you have children make sure to give them a clean home because it does a lot of mental damage if you don’t.

I think life after the infestation is just as hard and you kinda get ptsd a bit. It’s like can you sleep again? Is it safe to cook? Can I finally leave some food out uncovered for a few minutes without having roaches all over it the minute I turn my head? I’m afraid to put anything back in my cabinets and pantry now lol

Being clean goes a long way. I live in a multi family house on the 3rd floor and the first floor people had a roach problem and ultimately they had to leave because the landlord was spending too much money hiring exterminators and it kept going back to the same thing. They were dirty because I have lived in this house for 7 years and have never had a roach problem in my apartment and also our landlord is really good with keeping up with the house and fixing things.

Sorry, one of the common issues are keeping the homes clean …not saying they would never have a roach issue with the warmth and humidity . Keep your damnplace clean and do not leave food a garbage in the home. You do not have to be rich to keep your house clean.

House 1: Ok I get finance issues, but I insist that you burn the house down. There are 4 for you for goodness sakes

House 2: For the love of god call adult protective services! This man is physically not able to live by himself, he needs a nurse, a family member, a friend at least help from the community! (Other then getting rid of the roaches, if your gonna leave him alone at least hire some extreme cleaners, he is literally in a wheelchair with multiple health issues, how is he gonna clean everything)

I get it, I’m in Florida! Keep up with pest control or else! An old man went to the airport in Florida and when TSA opened up the suitcase it was loaded with roaches! They were even crawling up his pant legs! Poor old man!
