Man I've been absolutely destroying here in Michigan with my mathews no cam. I shoot it instinctively. I love that bow so much. Kills everything just fine without having the speed of the modern day bows.

I agree 100%. You would be surprised how many people in our archery club will not give up their Switchbacks.

Why not bring it back?
...because theyd charge $1000 while Bear is already selling theirs for $500.

Would love another Mathews Solo Cam and I also Miss the Mathews original Lost Camo. Lets Go Mathews and Bring them back. I'd be very honored to try it out and review it if you'd be willing to send me one.

YES 👍 Please bring back a high end Solo cam bow !!! I firmly believe that they will sell like hot cakes! Shooters miss and want that smooth forgiving feel of a solo cam bow again.

I love my Bear species!
I'm new to compound bows but shoot missouri dense oak woods. 20-40 yards tops for most shots. Single cams are amazing

I 100% agree the single cam models just made great hunting bows for anyone. There is definitely a good number of shooters myself included. Who are more than willing to sacrifice some performance. For the durability reliability and the feel and comfort of the single cam.

I still love & hunt with my Mathew’s MQ32. I bought it in 1999, and it still kills deer just as dead today as it ever did. 8 1/2” brace height makes it forgiving. It was the first of the short ATA bow craze. Very consistent & accurate.

Yea, it’s slow. But it is smooth as butter. Do I care if they make a Solo cam again, tho? Nope. Like others have said; Mathews would charge $ 1300 for one today. I would never pay today’s prices for a bow! It’s insane.

2023 Adapt+ owner here. Best bow I've shot in a while! Wouldn't try another single cam until a new Mathews solo cam comes out. Please win me over Mathews! Until then, it's the Bear Adapt+ all the way!

I look at it like this speed is cool, but smooth drawing and easy shooting are what make a deadly hunting bow. Single cams do that very well and are dead nuts simple for the average guy to work on as a bonus.
Edit to add that if Mathews is listening and wanted to bring back the Drenalin or Switchback LD as part of a throwback run they would get some of ny money

Dude i freakin love my adapt. However. Id definitely consider a similarly priced single cam from mathews. Key word, similar price lmao. I know how mathews is, i will never drop a mortgage payment on a bow, thats just absurd. But like a 6-700 single cam package, id definitely consider it.

I still have my mathews Z7 and it's just a great shooting bow. Farthest harvest I've had was a 46 yard shot with mine and handled it perfectly. Love the solo cam bow

Another solo cam bow from Mathews would be awesome! Especially if it incorporates some of the features that they have on their new bows.

I agree love my bear adapt but if hoyt, mathews etc came out with a new solo cam flagship bow at a good price I'd buy it! I choose comfort over speed because I can tweak my arrows to get a little more speed! I 200% agree bring back the solo cams!

The smoothness is why I love my Traverse.

I bet if Mathews did a limited run of creeds, z7s, or switchback xts, they’d make a ton of money.

They already did this. It was called the Z3. I owned one and I argue that it was better than the old Z7’s…unfortunately no one bought it. BUT…you bring it back with a tall riser and short limbs and you DEFINITELY have my attention.

I am on board Brother! Speed doesn't kill; accuracy does! Those old solo cam bows were smooth as butter and real tack drivers!

My dad runs a Z7 and I run a switchback XT.
We freaking love em. We don’t do much target shooting, just shoot throughout the year to stay in practice of shooting the bow. And then when bow season comes around I hunt as much as humanly possible and he hunts here and there because he has ti work a lot. But I still don’t think that I would swell my switchback even if I got a new bow.

I have kept by PSE Freak SP from 2014-15 for two reasons. One the draw length and two the smoothness of the of that huge idler wheel on the upper limb. It's never out of time and shoot fast even by today's standards and I have not found one in the past decade that meets or beats it. I kept looking at all long draw bows every year but its never been beaten.
