You know, I've personally flown over 194 missions and I was shot down on every one. Come to think of it, I've never landed a plane in my life.

That drag chute panel cracks me up. It's so dang happy to be there. 😄

Congratulations! Until now you were the only one who perfectly explained how to land the F-4!! Thank you!

Thank god, I've been in the air for 2 days waiting for this video. Now, I can land!

Thank you so much for this. I was getting real frustrated with Jester roasting me for each and every one of my poorly controlled crashes into the runway.

The descent rate calculation for a 3 degree glideslope is 5% of your groundspeed on approach, mentally I use ( GS x 10 ) / 2. You can shorten this mentally to just "add a zero, divide by two". So 160 knots groundspeed = 800fpm

I just this moment sat down to start learning to land the Phantom, great timing! 😄

Been flying most DCS modules for years and this is the one I have struggled with the most WRT landing. Thanks for you video. I had the numbers / procedure right. Obviously it all comes down to more practice.

5:30 until touchdown is the most realistic looking landing yet. The work they did on shocks and compression rebound etc is superb here!

Nice break to landing! Ah, lots of practice in my immediate future. But you gotta love this jet! Thanks!

I like hearing the “why” of doing some of the not obvious things. 👍. When I was following the checklists, I was wondering why temperature to hot? Defog on? 🤔😀. Good to know. That helps with memorizing the steps, too.

This is quality! Very detailed info and beautiful filming. Interesting fact about the engines pointing downwards and how it affects. I don't even have this module, but really enjoyed watching!

The right video at the right time. So far I've only got three training flights in this F-4 and of those, one 2 successful landings. Pure luck.

Thank you for this! I've been practicing landings since Friday night! Together with Victory205's post on the DCS forums, this is gold!

Great stuff - Thanks - Been waiting for one on landing the F-4. Hopefully it will be a bit less ‘hit & miss’ for me now! 🤣

i love yours videos with a realistic approach, How many peaople trying find shortcuts in procedures, but that's not what this module is about. Exxelent modul needs exelent tutorials. awesome job. Thx friend.

These tutorials have been not only informative, but also really fascinating to know the actual step by step process of everything. By chance do you have any preferences, suggestions, or recommendations for key binds ? I have a full A10 Warthog hotas throttle & stick, but am struggling with what I should bind.

I would have a request or an advice for that kind of video tutorial about a check-list: the switch between the panels and gages to check are made almost like swiping pictures, but I find it hard to visualize what’s the visual pattern, or at least the continuity of the visual pattern.
It could help to globally keep the overview of the cockpit, and have a smooth pattern, zooming on instruments needed to be checked.

But… just my opinion (or a user request, or a flight instructor advice :-D )
