Too tight clothes look bad, and I can prove it

For better outfits, balance fit and proportion with your clothes. I’ll show you how extra tight clothes look worse on my curvy, hourglass body, but fit and flare dresses are very body flattering!

Diana Ross, famous singer & fashion icon, said you should always wear your clothes one size too big to appear slim.

Love the roomy thigh in the shorts, so much more comfortable too! Never thought about "tiny" shoes being flattering or not. Thanks for the tip!

absolutely agree on the chunkier sole/shoe with big hips. I am very much an hourglass and tiny shoes on my feet make my thighs and hips look out of proportion. I love my shape, but I prefer to keep a balanced look. Cute dresses!

So eye-opening, Priska! I found your channel a few days back and I can't stop binge-watching all your content!

Love this!!! For the red dress, you definitely look taller with the tighter fit around the hips which also slims your legs and ankles. I do like the more Aline flows style for day, and tight for evening wear.

You look cute in everything, Priska, but I see your point! :)

Great video! You look absolutely lovely in all the dresses❤
I also try to avoid skinny+tiny sneakers or ballet flats - it makes my hips look so disproportionate to the rest of my body😅 little flare is a chef's kiss

It all comes down to the type of body that you have, not just the clothes. If you are fit, toned, tall, etc tight clothes will be more flattering. Unfortunately, Americans are becoming bigger by the second so a tight look doesn't work on that type of body.

I agree with this especially because I’m small at the top and huge at the bottom and I hate it even though people keep promoting it like it’s better. I can’t even shop for clothes because of it. It’s hard to find straight leg pants and shorts that have even leg and upper thigh room from the top to the bottom of my leg. Some lose pants just look like bell bottoms because my hips and upper thigh won’t let me live 😔 and huge gape because my waist is too small Even though my legs are now an XL depends on the fabric but I would be technically a small or medium but since every thing is so tight to the body I try to go wayy upp a size for comfort

Hi, I love your videos. Can you tell me which size you’re wearing in the black tencel jersey fit and flare dress as a reference? I’d love to order that one too. Greetings from Germany 😊

I actually find the tight version of the red dress way more flattering on you. You do look slimmer and taller in it, whereas the more flowy version gives you kind of a matronly look.

I also made the American eagle bootie shorts mistake 😆😝

I'm so curious about your new jewellery you showed us recently. I can't wait to see it how you wear it 😅❤

I think the biggest style goof American women make is wearing clothes that are way too small for them. These add visual weight, bulges and tart-up and cheapen any look. On the other hand, I don’t think oversized, baggy clothes are flattering either. A happy medium is classic and best: following the shape of the figure, but not squeezing it. Those horizontal creases across the bust, torso or hips, or pinching at the underarms or crotch are both signs of a size or two too small. I see plenty of my fellow Americans wearing a size Small when they are really a size Large or XLarge. I hate Spandex, too, for most clothes, I would rather rely on the inherent stretch of natural-fiber knits or good tailoring to get the fit I need. I hate being squeezed, especially at the bust, but it can be tough to find tops that don’t have Spandex in them. Great video, thanks🙂

I've been thinking about my 'style words' how I want to be seen or how I would like to feel and for now I know one of my words would be mysterious and that's how I feel in for example sweater dresses or button up sweaters etc.

This is a great video, Priska. Do you happen to have a link to the red linen dress? It’s amazing 😻
