Heh. I just noticed, Frank turns to Charlie first (the one he has the strongest, most positive bond with by far), then to Mac (the useful idiot), then to Dee (the victim of decades of his abuse), then finally at wits end to Dennis (same as Dee but also an unfeeling sociopath). He's been manipulating these idiots so long he knew exactly the ranking of which ones he could turn to for help.

Each look they give just so brilliantly captures each of their personalities - Charlie's confusion and not understanding of consequences or the gravity of the situation, Mac unwilling to do anything without Dennis's approval, Dee's malevolence and general birdiness, and Dennis's sociopathic disinterest and almost annoyance at the inconvenience of it all.
