Honda's original NSX is one of the most respected analog enthusiast cars of all time. However, many fans don't realize that it was nearly replaced with a front-engine V10 supercar. This is the story of the Acura ASCC concept car, and the motorsports success of the Honda HSV-010. What happened to the front-engine NSX? Why has Honda never produced their V10 for the road? I remember following all this back in middle school being so stoked for a v10 Acura/ Honda. All the way up until it was canceled and then the new one that we currently have was proposed and the super bowl commercial w Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld

It looks like a cross between three different cars.
The front reminds me of the Mazda Furai concept car.
The back reminds me of the Saturn Sky production car.
The mid section reminds me of the BMW Gina concept car .

This looks closer to an s2000 than an nsx layout wise but styling wise does look like an nsx

I remember that concept. I didn't like it for the NSX badge. I'm sure it could've been awesome, but like a Mustang "suv", Front Engine NSX doesnt make sense to me.. One reason why I like Corvette more than this? Cargo room! Love sports cars, but if it only works for cars and coffee shows, it doesn't make sense.

Honda would have become the NEW Godzilla! I didn't know about this. So cool! I love Honda. My #1 car company (&Acura) Honda needs to make a V8, though. I've always dreamed of how amazing a Honda V8 would sound and Rev. It would beat out any American muscle V8. That's saying a lot, too, since there are some amazing American V8s.

Loic Duval was right. I would have done unspeakable things to afford buying a Honda HSV. You know the usual "Road man" type of things. Lemonade stands, all men bikini car washes, dog walking... Hell I might have even run for city government.
