What is normative ethics? This primer provides an accessible way of getting to grips with the aims of normative ethics and how the three moral traditions of utilitarianism/consequentialism, deontology (Kant), and virtue ethics generally overlap and differ.

This video is intended for students familiar with basic philosophical ideas and intending to do further study.
