What is Metaethics? (Metaethics Mini Series Episode 1)

In the first episode of the Metaethics mini series, we explore what the field is generally about and some of the main debates within it. Metaethics goes a level above regular discussions about ethics and asks "What is morality really about?". It is particularly important to note that metaethics does not concern itself with the elaboration of moral theories to assess ethically laden situations, but with the essence of morality as such.

Thanks for this. I believe our morals come from ourselves rather than coming from a higher power. So that means morality is subjective doesn't it.?
