I tend to overwhelm myself very easily, so thank you so much for posting this strategy!

So good! It's been such a transition for me to be home full-time. I think blocking out time is going to help a lot with getting everything done. Thank you!

Thank you for posting this-I'm just transitioning from working outside of my home to taking care of my parents, who live with me, full-time. Between their finances, medical needs/dr appointments, meals, etc I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to get organized! This sounds like a good first step.😊

This is fantastic, Laura. I need all the help I can get in this area. Although my children are all older, youngest is 17, I still am struggling to find a good rhythm with my day. Either my house is a mess and everything is good with the blog or my house is great and I'm neglecting the blog. I can't seem to get my footing. This is super helpful and I'm going to try time blocking! Thank you so much for sharing!

Great video Laura! Always wondered how you do it! 😄 I try to keep a routine schedule also but sometimes it goes out the window depending on my work day 😜. But like you, I too love checking things off ✅

Sounds somewhat similar to Jordan Page’s Block Schedule system. I REALLY like the three dash system. I am definitely going to try that!

Amazing! I'm curious to ask if you ever just take the night off. i find I get to the end of the day with all these plans but then just wanna go to bed :) I guess after watching this I feel a little exhausted :) Also, I take my 3 year old and 6 month out most mornings as I find being out easier at the moment but then find the nap time is just spent with making lunch for myself and unpacking food stuff from our outings and doing the washing etc. Do you tend to spend most mornings at home? Thinking I may need to shake up our routine as I never feel like I can get to doing things for me (more just out and then cleaning / food prep/ washing etc). Do you relate at all?

Thanks for this. I was wondering what do you do if you find that one block of time isn’t sufficient to complete a task? Do you give yourself extra time in case or do you push the rest back or are you breaking the tasks down so much that they are simple and quick and in than case if you find you have extra time, do you ever start on the next block of times tasks? Xx
