To the negative types out here on YT, you don’t need to view his video. I think you and myself have helped him though, every comment elevates this guy in a scale that might eventually pay dividends to the specific channel.

I'm less than 3 mins into the vid, and I had to pull you up on my cell to say thanks, best video for gold testing, I'm prodding meteoric suspects myself,
Thanks

What u have is a schist rock, in most cases if it contains gold it will b tiny specks of free mill gold, not connected to other piece's ( no circuitry.there may be a a grm.in
that sample .when gold persipitates
Into the rock it fills very tiny voids .

Chopsticks! That's what the efforts of manipulating the two points of the voltmeter one-handed reminded me of. I'm guessing this won't work with disseminated gold? Nevertheless, I'm out the door at 546am to grab my voltmeter and some rocks.

Thanks for the info. Does this also work with platinum ore?

I’m wondering if it’s not buzzing because you’re hitting something between 50-120 ohms although I would assume at such a small size, it would likely be well below all that? I know nothing about electricity, or science or rocks for that matter; I’m trying to learn haha. But I took out my multimeter and am reading the instructions and it says it may not beep when the resistance of a circuit under test is between 50 and 120 ohms or greater than 120. Again, I have no clue what ANY of that means haha. Also, I wonder how other metals will interfere since they’re also conductive? So can you do this for silver and copper, etc? This was an excellent idea though, and I want to try it out on some of my very first Rock stash I collected for my new hobby. The learning curve is far more massive than I thought rocks every could be haha. Well done brother! Thank you.

I tested something I think is pyrite but it has a circuit?! what have I got?? I always thought it was a fossil turned into pyrite.

Duh, all precious metals register ass nothing or of course “point to (.02)” because that’s thee actual lie.

P.s.gold is a super conductor, as are all of the noble metals

This is a horrible video. Gold is not the only conductive metal. the only information this has provided is that it's some kind of metal.
