Bought a basic Gardner Bender multimeter. No real instructions on how to read it. Come to YouTube, answered in less than a minute. Damn, what a time to be alive 😁. I miss my dad though 😢

Ain’t nothing to it, but to do it. I wish all videos were like this. Right to the fucking point, no BS! Thank you

Thank you! I got this multimeter for some small projects but was too intimidated to start. This really helped!

Thanks so much - that's the one I'm about to buy. I appreciate you explaining what the symbols mean - I am NOT an electrician. :)

Short & to the point. I marked AC and DC on mine, and also marked the lower socket black, for the negative cable.

If I’m using this for a potato battery, should I use the 20 or the 2000m?

How do you install😟 the 9 volt battery?
*I see the door on back...
*I peek under the plastic-handling plastic I see the two screws. But does the black handling plastic need to be removed. What the heck?

How do you put a battery in this thing!
Hey if anyone is reading this and needs help I found the best way was to open the meter was to open the back hatch and then run a screw driver between the outer case and the meter while pushing the meter from the back. This should pop it off like a phone case

@fix it home improvement channel, your multimeter is different from the one I'm looking at online. For AC on yours, it shows 200 left of the off/on switch, and on the online one it shows the 200 left of and 200 right of, plus the 500 left of the off and on switch. So which 200 do you use for it?

Can this meter test a circuit breaker? I've got a breaker that I think is bad.
