So Voyager gets earth reception in interstellar space but I can’t get good WiFi coverage 🙄😂

I think there is a system in place that makes it so a species has to reach a certain point before it can explore the rest of the galaxy. There's a reason things are spread so far apart, there's a reason there are dangers like radiation and debris between destinations. A species has to reach the tech level and solve the problems required to overcome the obstacles to get out there. Like a big test. Our species isn't there yet, if we got out into the rest of the galaxy we'd cause problems because we're troublemakers.

Man, a planet sized kijo could pop up and punch NASA right in the face and they would tell the world the nose bleed is from high blood pressure lmao

I was born in 1958 so I got to see the take-off of voyager 1 and 2. I was a teenager then. This is fantastic! I don't believe we are alone God created everything, that means he created them as well.

Voyager 2 was launched in August and Voyager 1 in September both 1977, I was only 6 but I remember because 2 was launched 4 days after Elvis died!!

I suspect it was a good thing V1 was launched in the 70s in the sense that if a probe was launched today it would probably have lasted 5 or 6 years tops.
Although technology may been older, things were built much better to last back then.
I had a washer and dryer that lasted me 30 years but today appliances give our after a few years.
Also, remember them super heavy TVs in bureau style some encased in wood?

You could kick those on the side and get a better reception.
Try kicking your flat TV today which will guarantee the reception to get worse.

Its amazing how such a small craft can send data from so far away

The thing that both voyagers found is not that there was something there, but that what they expected to be there, wasn't. After the two probes left the heliosphere, they passed through the heliosheath, which is where the solar wind from our sun meets the interstellar medium (cosmic rays, created by the big bang and supernovas) from the rest of the galaxy. The collision is described like two bodies of water crashing into each other. This slows down and dilutes the cosmic rays. Beyond that is the edge of the heliopause, where the solar wind is nullified. The other side of it is the edge of interstellar space. What was strange (i.e., missing) was that the models predicted that there would be a change in magnetic field because the sun's field would be weakened enough that the magnetic fields of other stars would overpower it. But no change was found. In other words, the models of our solar system were wrong. NASA was so confused, they took a year before they announced the spacecraft had entered interstellar space.

Space warfare?! My ❓ is if we do ever come to that, do we have the capability to defend ourselves? Are we even going to know what we are up against? That's what scares me.

Loved this one; I'm a huge space nerd. I agree about Voyager 1 - it could be that it's on its last legs, but at the same time, it's in interstellar space and who knows what's out there. We sent it out to collect data for analysis, so let's analyze the data!

that's how we meet them...." and it should finish with "until the aliens realize that we are better food than we are friends"

Hey L,
I believe that the water that was on Mars dried up and that civilization died. We might be the last of the civilization or we are another test civilization to see how we are doing things. Never know. Much Love TMG FAM ❤

Great video. Keep both Voyagers going, they still have work to do for us. I believe that ALL the incoming data needs to be looked at with a fine toothed comb. Don’t just shelf it because it seems to not make any sense or seems like a temporary glitch.

I love this guys videos, I need to ask if we can send space craft so far in to the cosmos and for such a long period of time then I have to wonder why we are incapable of exploring our own oceans with this kind of technology?

The Keys of Enoch refer to biological entities in space as “Space Gods.” 🤔🤔

how close you can get to a black hole depends on it's mass. the larger the farther you have to be
