In collaboration with @TheSmugglersRoom this time I share with you my organic sculpting process using @MaxonVFX ForgerApp on iPad! Our friend Brian needed some cool critters for 'The Smokey Mynock' diorama, so I grabbed my iPad and modeled some crazy critters, this is how!

I love the fact that you can basically sculpt an idea on the go! This is perfect when you have a quick idea and just need to get it roughed out. Very cool indeed!

Great work. Question: What ipad app do you use for 3D modeling inorganic pieces like robots and spacecraft?

So good to see this in action. Historically a CAD user, so flat surface and geometry makes more sense in terms of using software, but having sculpted physically could see myself warming to this.

Fantastic James!!! I too am much more comfortable with hard surface modeling. It definitely is a different approach when creating organic shapes. The mynock turned out great man!!!

forger, the app that makes you pay them each month and only had 1 meaningful update in over 2 years, the rest of updates are:

- support for more languages (this one is funny, they did this same update each month for a year)
- UI fixes and updates
- performance updates
- bug fixes
And they never specified anything in those updates.

No wonder it has a 1.9 out of 5 rating.


It's sad because I owned the original and supported the original creator but he sold his soul to maxon and they made it subscription model to milk the users without adding anything worth it for over 2 years so far.

Nomad Sculpt is far superior than Forger.

There is no videos about 3d animation with forger . Is it possible to make 3d animation, rigging, making a scene with this app?
