3D Printer for Kids!

This is a $130 3D Printer for kids that I picked up off Amazon

It sorta looks like Beymax or an Among Us character… pretty sus.

Looks super fun and bubbly. I suspect it will require the same amount of technical input as other machines. Kid friendly? Will be interesting to see how solid it is.

Kids totally love to get burned, firmware update, slice model, and do monthly maintenance

Looks a lot like the m3d other than the shell itself, had lots of issues with mine, abandoned it after the third extruder gearbox broke.

I don’t know anything about this hobby . Example, idk if 3D printing has any risk factors. But this looks safe and fun for a kid nice to see you showing your kids your hobby

This looks like the same Gantry and hot end system the M3D Micro has. I still have my micros but hardly use them at the moment XD

Back in my day, we used to have big, bulky 3D printers that would attempt to murder you! They were giant machines that you would have to throw against the wall if it didn't work. Kids these days, they have it easy...

HMM besides the OBVIOUS issue of hot surfaces (they may have some safety built in) there is the issue of working with polymers in easy to swallow size the cost factor for the filament if repeatedly wasted ...etc... not sure a kids printer is that good an idea.
