As a medical student, these videos were my go-to for OSCES. I am now a doctor, and I've unconsciously incorporated elements of Andrew's mannerisms and expressions into my routine physical examination.

The hardest part of an OSCE now will be remembering not to introduce myself as “Andrew, one of the final year medical students”

LOL I cant believe that after passing MRCS, I am here for a quick revision for ST3 clinical videos and geeky medics is still my number 1, although specific tests are needed for the FRCS. Definitely adequate for medical students

Nice video guys, i thought it would be much better if you added more special tests.

These are the general important special tests and what they test for, look for them on youtube for how to perform them:
Apprehension test- Test glenohumeral instability
Painful arc test, neer test, Hawkins test - Impingement
Jobe's test, empty can test - supraspinatus tear
Scarf test - test the AC Joint
Speed's test - Biceps and check for biceps tendonitis.
Gerber test (lift off test) - Subscapularis

I enjoyed this video. Is the painful arc test the same as the drop arm test used to asses RTC pathology?
