This was excellent video
You should do a disclaimer and let people know it's deenergized before you start for everybody safety
Cause you was like what can you touch what can't you touch then you touched some stuff you shouldn't lol .

I might have missed it, but I didn't hear the neutral and ground are only combined in a main panel and not in a subpanel. nice video. I am always looking to learn more. cheers

On a Single Phase 120 / 240 VAC 200 Amp Service for Dwelling Units, Residential, Code allows 3-ought Conductors to be used for the Phases, the Un-grounded conductors and 2-ought for Neutral or ''grounded '' conductor if using 90* C THHN CU conductors.

I like your videos. Not to be picky This is a single phase panel so there is only one transformer so the two hot wires are LINE ONE AND LINE TWO. I called them phase a and phase b also I have been in the trade since 1975 I went to a seminar from Tom Henry electrical class about 25 years ago That"s when he schooled us when we called them phase a and phase b

I had a metal building built and we are putting in a 100 amp subpanel to supply power to the building, by connecting to the main panel in our home....approximately 70 feet away. We ran our conduit and wires thru before we realized we Failed to mark the wires. What is the safest way to find the hot wires? Please help.

What is meant by "200 amp" and "100 amp" panels? Is it the maximum current that can go into the panel and service all of the circuits that panel serves? Is it governed, limited, by the main breaker or simply that is the maximum current coming in fron the cables? IOW are the incoming cables the same for 100 and 200 amp panels and the difference the main breaker limit? These two panels look different in their internal construction. What is the brand of the first, 200 amp, panel?

Hi Craig! Could you please produce a video or at least give your pro-opinion on SER cable. I'm wiring a 100 amp sub panel (80 ft run through attic), and I'm not honestly sure if aluminum is a decent product, albeit 1/3 the price of copper. I've always used copper for this application, 3-3-3-5, but do you believe a 2224 is dependable and long term, safe? Thank you!

In a home with a 100AMP service, how do I determine which bus bar is for the ground and which is for the nutural . Especially when electricians used both bars for both the nutural and grounding systems? Why would they do that? They have both the nutural and ground wires from different circuits going into the same bus bars. Wouldn't it be simpler and more professional looking to keep them separated (a cleaner install)?

How can I figure out the phases of my box?

Mine is about 20 years old. Some people say it's left and right.

Others says it's staggered (each one going down alternates A and B).

Im confused! But need to wire up my music studios outlets all on the same phase...

Hello, sir thanks for sharing!! Can the ground be connected on a additional ground bar on the subpanel where you connected neutral and ground?

On the 100 amp main breaker do you have 100 amps on each phase or total load on the breaker? and is it the same on the 200 AMP.
