Too bad I did not view your video prior to replacing my oil filter!
The owners manual says "Remove 4 pins to remove cover to replace filter!
(Rather than lifting up the flap as you describe.)
So we used a screwdriver to pry the pins loose.
Then we find the cover cannot be replaced with the old pins!
Definitely a diabolical ploy by Nissan to cause any owner attempting to do-it -yourself much grief!
So now we must find 4 new pins of a type that anyone can use easily to replace the original factory type of pins.
I am 70 years old & have been changing oil on my vehicles for over 50 years.
Why do we need a new crush washer for the oil drain plug now
when we did not for the previous 100 years?
NISSAN HAS BEEN SUBVERTED BY THE DEVIL!
