Good tip about the dipstick being turned the right way around when re-inserting into the block. That guide can attract crud so I clean it out very gently and carefully with a thin rod and a cloth taped to the end at each oil change being extremely careful not to push bits of said crud into the engine.

I did an oil change on one of these today and I thought I overfilled it but now I know I’m not the only one that had trouble with the oil running up the dipstick. Thanks for this

Hello, for some reason, My pathfinder has been full, up to 2.5 liters of oil, is this normal? Change the filter of the car, and also, put the car on surface level as well.

Pennzoil motor oil and a Mobil 1 oil filter?...

The dip stick on these cars are a pain in the ass have to line it up just right to check the oil level

Changing your oil and not the filter is like taking a shower and putting your dirty clothes back on

Not sure why Nissan Pathfinder’s dirty oil is soo dark. My Toyota’s aint that bad.

Pit a couple of those filters on my 17. Theyre crap dude. Look at a new one in the box and rub the bare machined metal with a paper towel. Theyre FULL of metal machine dust. Just an fyi

Would not want this guy to change my oil - never change your oil and not replace filter. Other issues with his oC as well.
