The transaction time with Bitcoin is around 5 to 60 minutes, with Dogecoin it's around 20 seconds. Which time window is more likely to be safe regarding the price volatility? Bitcoin transaction fee is around 5 dollars, Dogecoin transaction fee maybe 0.01 dollar. Which is cheaper? The network architecture and the code of Dogecoin is almost identical with Bitcoin, just faster and cheaper to use.

A difference needs to be made between crypto currencies and digital assets. And, will bitcoin or other digital assets ever be considered "money" due to their volatility? Volatility may resolve over time...

Dogecoin is better than bitcoin for transaction speed and fees and should be used as intended... a currancy. Yes you can hodl it as an asset but also spend it and replace so that you dont end up looking back in 10 years at that pizza you bought for $1, 000, 000. If you want to just use doge and remove most of the volatility, then you would simply purchase doge right before you intend to use it. This is a process that will become much more seamless in the near future.

Here in the US states, I know using crypto to purchase goods or service requires state sales tax but would there also be federal income tax on the difference from where you bought the crypto and the growth value on the day of the goods purchase? I would love to spend crypto as payment if I didn't have to pay federal tax on the increase in value. Love to learn about this.

The actual doge community is actually huge with over 5 million not 10.000.. an is accepted at as many place as btc. As were the transaction fees are much lower an much faster..

Any one with a logical mind will by now know Fiat currency is inflationary, value keeps going down. On the other hand cryptocurrency is deflationary and value increases keep going up over time as demand goes up.

Legal tender just means that a particular currency has to be accepted as payment in the relevant jurisdiction if it's tendered as payment. It doesn't mean that two parties can't transact with something else if they want to.

We should all be paid in gold and buy things in gold too. Grams, ounces or whatever. It can even be digitised on the blockchain.
