Ruby Franke’s Husband Questioned By Cops After Kids Found Bound in Duct Tape

After two of Ruby Franke’s children were found bruised and covered with duct tape, her husband, Kevin Franke, was questioned by Utah police. In his interview on August 30, 2023, Kevin Franke said he trusted Jodi Hildebrandt and claimed she was a very honest and truthful person. When police told him what had happened to his children, he said “this sounds like a made up story” and it sounded like “a horror movie.”

If a police officer informed me my husband had dehydrated, starved to the point of emaciation, put duct tape around the wrist and ankles of my children over existing wounds made by ropes, the last thing I would be saying or declaring is I love my husband.
