The YouTube mom accused of child abuse had previously been accused of mistreating her kids before she was arrested. Ruby Franke took away her eldest son’s bed for seven months, forcing him to sleep on a beanbag as punishment for playing a joke on his younger brother. I had seen another clip of one of her daughters pulling a stuffed animal out of a backpack and confessing to her mom that she sleeps with that stuffed animal every night and was afraid to tell her. After telling her mom about the stuffed animal, the poor girl starts nervously laughing and then bursts into tears… the fact that she was so terrified over something so simple was heartbreaking to watch. It’s sad it had to take an extreme situation to get justice for those kids.
