Andy Robinson is proof how much an actors ad libbing can add to a character.

Andy Robinson owned the movie Dirty Harry. He would have been a great JOKER!

A real tribute to Andy's acting ability. He projected to the audience a dispicable villian like no one else could. High art.

Say what you want Andrew Robinson is a genius and under rated. IMHO.

It's almost surreal seeing him talk and behave like a normal person.

Makes his performance in the film all the more impressive. Bravo, good sir, bravo.

Andy Robinson is an incredible actor. He would have made an incredible joker if he had been given a chance.

He played one of the all time great villain roles in that movie.

A great performance in Dirty Harry. Also the scene on the school bus was brilliant.

One of the best performances ever captured on celluloid. Crazy good.

"hubba hubba hubba pig bastard" was the line during the phone booth run-around scene

I am 45 and just watched Dirty Harry (1971)again on Blu-ray for the zillionth time. I feel great gratitude towards the late Don Siegel, Andy Robinson (83), Awesome Jazz Music; Lalo Schifrin (92) and of course to Clint Eastwood (94) for a genuinely authentic genius masterpiece of a movie from yesteryear 🎥. I ❤ footage of 70s San Fran, that cool bell jet ranger police chopper, the sounds of sirens, the genius acting & directing. Best movies ever made were from the late 60s to mid 80s, but the 70s were the best of the best decade for films in my opinion. Wild, artistic, enthusiastic era that makes a fool out of today's stuff. Thank you 💐🫡

I loved him in Dirty Harry and later on as Garak in DS9. Fabulous actor!

Great actor... Love hearing behind the scene stories such as this... He definitely was the right man for the role of Scorpio, Clint really struck gold when he had him for the movie... the front flip and the ad-libbed "My... That's a big one" line were pure genius.

Talent like Andy displayed in this film is rare. It is a memorable role for so many reasons. I will list some. Menace. Unpredictability. Range of emotion. His voice. His facial expressions. Just to list a few.

This was one great interview. Andy has always been one hell of an actor. Also has a great sense of humor.

Amazing to see how he is in real life. A very polite gentleman. Took a long time to get Scorpio out of my head, and even when watching him in Hellraiser, and that Sci Fi series he was in (sorry I forget cos I never watched it much), he still reminded me of Scorpio as soon as I heard his voice. Guess thats why he struggled for a while after playing that role. Brilliant but unforgettable for a lot of people who really believed he was a sicko in reality. Must have been quite hard for him going shopping etc after the movie came out.

The way that Andy transitioned from a professional extortionist to an absolutely insane maniac at the cross was very scary. “No no no no no no, don’t pass out on me now!” I believed that was his real nature and that blending in as a normal human being was when he was acting.
