Works on my 2018 Ford Escape (with Sync3, v.3.0), off a LG V30 phone. Maps not the prettiest, but more up-to-date than Google's, which is still directing to a ramp connecting two highways in the area that has been closed (albeit temporarily) since June 2015!

Volkswagen Navigation system is so good and precise that many times, I don't use Android Auto, because I'm too lazy to plug it in. I admit that Google does the best mapping but VW is that close. And the car satellite receiver is way better than my phone. Also, the car is better in establishing the direction, as its compass is better.

I love using Ethic, but I'm from Trinidad and Tobago, so the map has literally no detail apart from the roads. Great app though.

NASA can launch a rocket and send a device that can navigate to an asteroid more than a million miles away in outer space to take close-up photos of it, but nobody seems to be able to make a GPS device worth a darn that can reliably navigate to a place the next town. I've had a Magellan, a Garman, an N-Drive and Sygic. I installed Sygic on an iPad about 5 years ago and it worked extremely well. No complains, really. Unfortunately, my iPad was broken by some kids playing with it. That's when I bought the other units and they all had issues. Even the Garman did stupid stuff like directing me on a route that was a mile longer when I could see my destination plainly a block away. 

Recently I bought anAndroid tablet for the sole purpose of making it my navigating device with the purchase and installation of another Sygic app. I had so much confidence that the program would work as well as it did previously that I bought several add-ons with it. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE, KICK IN THE TEETH DISAPPOINTMENT THAT WAS !!!  

After downloading the map of my home state and several neighboring states, I began loading names and addresses of places I frequent. All of these have been on the map for years, but Sygic couldn't locate about 1/3 of these. Nor could it locate the place on the map when given the latitude and longitude. I submitted a technical help request and got a standard automated reply. They might just as well have given me the "one-finger" salute. Thirty bucks down the drain.

Biggest problem I have repeatedly is Sygic routing me OFF a highway only to immediately route me right back onto that same highway.
That seems to be a simple programming code to write, just look ahead to see the route.

Sygic Car Navigation works only with Samsung, Sony, HTC, Apple mobiles ! ! !

I bought it, but I am disappointed. The screen I have in car is 8" 800x480, more than satisfying... but. Sygic Car does not show all of the options like when is directly used at smartphone, e.g. current speed is not visible.
Except showed maps, all other is way to huge with to blurry letters and occupying screen space totally unnecessary. At the other hand googlemaps (AA) has much better graphics, at same screen.

I brought one off eBay, it's shit, the Sat nav is in Chinese, and I can't tether it with hot-spot or USB cable, the only thing that works is the radio and Bluetooth phone connection... I want my money back!!!

Worst app on the market for in car navigation systems. The software has been bugged for two years and was know by Sygic, yet they continued to push the software out as a reputed market leader. What a pity they couldn't even get the software to properly detect what suburb or town you were located in, let alone correct connectivity issues with infotainment systems, or the 100 - 200m delay in location detection.
I foolishly believed this overpriced software license would be fixed, yet in over 2 years of use it still fails miserably. Use google maps its far more accurate and uses less mobile data to boot.

What a shame the support team couldn't be more honest and up front from the beginning.

Sygic is a shit!! I had that in my car, payed premium and had only problems on the way. Used it in Norway... when is a couple ways close to each other, navigation starting to show a couple ways, going back, and forward and its so difficult for sygic nav to find way. Only when is only one road, its better, but its very slow and use a lot of processor's ram. Luckily i got refund, so I uninstaled it. Totally unuseles app.
