Angie wish I had found your channel years ago. I have had multiple skin cancers on my face, and was not good about the sun screen. Thank you for motivating me to do better. It was the oily mess under my makeup that I did not know how to solve thank you. I tried the Australian Gold but my este’ Lauter did not go on very well then found “ Sole’ “ on HSN and wow works great. Then when I need to redo I just put on the Australian gold over my makeup and it looks fine !

Great video. I'm obsessed with sunscreen. It's my favorite anti-aging product ever! I LOVE my Colorescience Brush on the best. I have one in every purse, my travel bag and my beach bag! I also like my Mineral Fusion Brush-on spf too (much less expensive than Colorescience but Colorescience is so very worth the money to me). DermaE has one I want to try too. Thanks for sharing!

You once showed a compact sunscreen that I immediately ordered and took on a cruise with me. It worked well with all the excursions we went on, but I think a powder would be even better. I just ordered the Color Science sunscreen Sunday night. I can’t wait to get it. It should be here soon. We have a lake house. Putting 50 SPF on once plus BB cream and a wide brim hat isn’t enough protection when your outside in the lake all day. Great review. Kim

I’ve been using the Supergoop since it was recommended by my dermatologist. I don’t love the delivery system so I tend to take out the brush to dump some powder in my hand and then dip the brush. There’s less fallout that way. I do like that the Supergoop is refillable and that the brush can be removed for cleaning. It’s also easier to find since Sephora carries many of the Supergoop products.

Awesome video! Thanks for the info! Was thinking of purchasing the Tarte product, until I read in the reviews there was others out there. I saw that Colorescience had one, and was interested in it, so I went looking for reviews. This was a great head to head review. Also great to see someone my age doing makeup videos as well! I think at 51 it’s time I started paying more attention to the sunscreen part of my routine!

For those DIY people you can make powder sunscreen. You can purchase cosmetic grade zinc/titanium dioxide on Amazon. Using it alone it can be rather white, but mixing in a face powder (slightly darker) helps with that. It is not as convenient as the tube, but cheaper. Real techniques makes a retractable brush and you can use any little container. You can google and find many recipes for homemade powder sunscreen.

I started using powdered sunscreen for during the day protection, and find it really helpful. When you have a full face of makeup on, you just can't reapply cream sunscreen. I found from Costco a two pkg of the BRUSHONBLOCK SPF 30, for $40.00 ( l'm from Ontario, so Canadian dollar's) and really happy with it. 😎

thanks again for another great video! this will be a long comment 😊 i just bought the colorscience powder after thinking about it for 3 years. i was always a drug-store-only-makeup girl so the cost prevented me from purchasing sooner. (youtube has turned me into a higher end makeup junkie 🤔😄) lisa j & stephanie marie have been raving about the total eye renewal so when i ordered that, i added the powder. thurs night i used it to touch up my makeup just as a test. wasn't going to be in the sun. it did not disturb the makeup i had on (major bonus points) i cannot believe how beautiful it looked on my skin. it was a warm evening & i took a dip in a friend's pool. my eyeliner ran and mascara flaked, but my base make barely budged because of the powder. b4 i cleaned my face for the night i looked in my magnifying mirror & couldn't believe it was still there . then yesterday, i didn't plan on being outside for any extended period of time so i wore my bb cream combo which has spf, but not 50 as i would usually wear when i know i'll be in sun for a while. (btw have been using austrian gold you suggested.) so i got an unexpected invite to hang out with the same friend to relax in her pool. i brushed the powder on over my makeup & then we floated on rafts for about 3 hours (peek hours) and i did not burn (i do have fair skin)! it was hot and i was sweating, but powder & makeup didn't budge. i am shocked at how effectively it performs! i put my makeup on at 530 am and did not wash my face til about 8 pm. i did not touch up (i have normal to oily skin depending on products i am using that day.) would have been comfortable if i had plans to do something that night. going to beach on sat so that will be the real test. i love this product! not even interested in the other 2 😊

I always felt like the colorscience wasn’t coming out of the container and into the brush. I used it a whole summer and didn’t make much of a dent in the powder amount. I would rather have protection over a slightly better looking skin (because barely any product is dispensing). Going to try out SuperGoop!

I purchased the Super Goop once and returned it because of the fallout plus the faulty packaging; the container with the powder fell out once and dumped half the powder out. Such a waste! I’m now using the Peter Thomas Roth one and enjoy it.
