hi MiniDisc and Lachlan, loving the content, just wished it was more than a minute :) May i ask if the Polaris 2 have a recessed mids? Im looking for a W or U sound signature. Can the Polaris 2 be considered a W/U Sound sig, if not can you recommend 3 iem that are W/U shape. Looking for a good mid presence yet still have good highs and lows....

i got the polaris today and its a pretty interesting IEM to say the least. im sitting here right now with a zmf aeolus on my head and i kinda find myself missing the ludicrous amounts of slam the polaris has but i also dont miss the harshness in the treble i have been hearing. i think with the polaris, i prefer the foam tips to the silicone ones. the foam doesnt completely fix the sharpness is the treble but when i use the final audio silicone tips, i have to EQ the 8k hz region down too much to not experience fatigue... it just makes the polaris sound too dark. i like some liveliness in my treble but the polaris is just a bit too hot... but that bass though... man oh man is it a guilty pleasure.

Ppl said original is "Japanese tuned". Do you consider version 2 still "Japanese tuned"? If not, what other iem (and headphone) you recommend with "Japanese tuned" signature?
