I go with Chelsea. Best jeans for me are American Eagle AE Flex Athletic Fit. Tapered fit 9" ankle seam. Great look, fit, and they're perfect for sneakers or boots. Best part is on sale they're $40.

I have two pairs of Thursday boots and my wife has a pair. I've had one pair for almost four years, wear them frequently and they're still in great condition. Big fan.

I'm a fan of brown cap toe with denim. Chelseas with tapered chinos.

I’ve worn Chelseas with slim dark denim but I’ve also worn a sleek lace up dress boot with the same said denim as well. It depends on the size of the boot and how chunky or cumbersome they look or appear with your jeans like Antonio said in the video. Good stuff

Great video. Especially the part on leg opening. I use my cellphone in the store sometimes. I hold my cell phone next to the leg opening and I know I want it to be about 1-2 inches longer than the length of my cell and this will be about 7-8”. It’s a great tool for me. Also your comments on proportionality, I see so many guys with big clunky boots that make them look like a caricature.. spot on!

Cowboy...and in Houston, I am able to wear "dress" cowboy boots with a suit...even in Court. Kinda makes me smile when I do it 🙂

I’m 16, my only pair of boots atm are a pair of dark brown leather Chelseas from Loake. Had them for 3 months so far, I take care of them very well, the leather’s great and as is the build quality. They work for the great outdoors or in the city. Got them for £255. Would recommend very, very strongly.

The only style of boots I cuff my jeans with are my Scout chukka boots and my Vanguard cap toe boots. Best boots for jeans to me are lace up styles in plain toe or cap toe and suede Chelseas only. Brogued and Wingtipped boots are higher on the formality scale although still casual. For them I go Corduroy pants.

Great video. Thursday Boots certainly has great quality. I'm ordering their "Legend" boot in Black Matte finish. Just got the "Keanu" leather jacket from Thursday Boots and absolutely love it. As for which boot I think works best with Denim, I would say Chelsea boots. But I have seen some people pull off other styles as well.

I'm enjoying the look of mid-to-light brown, burgundy/ oxblood and tan boots that are a bit on the darker side, with slightly dark, mid blue, denim.

I also like the look of my black Chelsea, with the, kind of, 'biker boot' type strap and buckle detail along with really dark indigo blue.

The days of me in Timberlands and bigger, biker style, boots are over.

I've got a pair of Country Road, Rugged Resilient, Stormking, Thursday Captains and they go awesome with just about every pair of jeans I own. Personally I love the look with my slimcut light denim jeans.
