He comprehended the duality of human existence—body and spirit—and cautioned that vaccines could disrupt this balance, leaning toward materialism and potentially leading to spiritual decay. Steiner cautioned against the ease with which vaccines could tip this balance, emphasizing the potential for them to steer humanity away from spiritual growth towards a more materialistic existence.
