For all those who think Netero could defeat him in his prime, Netero himself said that he is less than half his prime strength right now. Meruem was not even seriously fighting him, no way he could be defeated. He is just too OP that Togashi needed to play the love card to defeat him (and also the rose😂).

There should be "no diff" if king was fighting netero seriously. That 1st shot that took out netero arm could have easily taken out his head had king seriously though of killing him. The Only thing that could rival king will be king himself in a 1 v 1 death battle. And nanika if some on wish for king death.

Meruem would've low diffed Netero if heh was fighting to kill instead of fighting to just get his name IMO. Post Rose Meruem for sure takes it low diff if not Pre Rose.

I'll say prime netero could've forced meruem into having an actual hard fight because in their fight when netero was a geezer basically, the narrator stated something to the effect of "meruem was beginning to feel the dullest hints of pain" when netero was smacking him all over the place. So prime netero being confirmed to be at least twice as strong, could've done some real damage
