How To Crochet Basic Romanian Cord / Bag Strap

How to crochet easy, sturdy basic romanian cord for bag handle straps, belts, drawstrings, etc.

Materials used:
Worsted - Aran weight macrame cord type yarn. I used YarnArt Macrame Cotton.
5 mm (H) crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):
sk - skip, st./sts - stitch / stitches, ch - chain, sc - single crochet.

Her stitching would go smoother if she used an aluminum hook. (Plastic tends to grab the yarn.) The cord pattern is very nice.
