2023 Cadillac LYRIQ review // Was it worth the wait?

This is a Motormouth couple car review of the 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ luxury EV crossover SUV.
The Cadillac LYRIQ has RWD and AWD options available with a 102 kWh battery We are driving the RWD model with 340 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque, it gets up to 505 km/308 miles of range.
The Cadillac LYRIQ AWD model has 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque with up to 505 km/307 miles of range.
The Cadillac LYRIQ electric SUV has an elegant design with an illuminated grille with laser etch graphics, chrome door handles, available body-coloured, slim-line LED vertical headlamps and a black roof. The LYRIQ has 7” of ground clearance and comes standard with bright window trim, available dark, LED headlamps, LED taillamps, 20” wheels, available 22” wheels and a tire repair kit.
Standard features for the Cadillac LYRIQi nclude, a 33” LED diagonal display with Google built-in and 9K resolution, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, over-the-air software update, wireless charger, 7-speaker audio system, heated power front seats with lumbar support, driver seat memory, leatherette upholstery, a fixed full glass roof and power liftgate.
Available features you can add to the Cadillac LYRIQ Luxury models include, Super Cruise, the 19.2 kW onboard charger, 19 speaker AKG audio system, ambient lighting panoramic power opening sunroof, black painted roof, Nappa leather interior, ventilated front seats and heated rear seat.
The Cadillac LYRIQ comes with an 11.5 kW onboard charger, available 19.2 kW onboard charger. At a DC fast charger with charging speeds up to 190 kW with the 11.5 kW onboard charger, you will gain up to 49 km/30 miles of range per hour and with the larger onboard charger 82 km/51 miles of range per hour.

They have redesigned the door handles for 2024, they now present similar to how the EV6 does. Then you just pull them to open the doors. Great video!

Call your local Caddy dealer and ask them how long it will take to get one of these.... then ask them how many they've delivered. Just another over priced BEV that isn't being delivered.

Oh, baby!! That is a Cadillac!! It makes Audi, BMW, and MB look bland. Plush and posh!! I looks like a corporate jet interior!! The rear wiper has been replaced with a rear spoiler that directs air flow down onto the rear windshield. You both look great in it!!

I hope they are finally getting their act together. I ordered one last year and it was a very bad experience. The dealer didn't contact me. After multiple tries I went down to visit them and the rep didn't know much but allow me to configure one. They also informed me that I had to take their $2, 000 customer car package that included things like OIL CHANGES, really! They didn't even call me when GM came in to allow test drives. So when Tesla dropped the price on the Model Y I purchased one.

When comparing my 2023 Lyriq 600e4 to previous cars (Porche's, Audi's, Continental's), the Lyriq is my "so-so" car. SO ... quiet; SO ... smooth; SO ... powerful; SO ... smart; and SO ... relaxing (when using SuperCruise)! This is a MUST car to test drive when buying a new car. In actual use, door handles are fine and the rear wiper has not been missed. Both are academic issues.

Another great video. Cadillac is always known for big and powerful cars. Looks like Lyric is a top notch, Big E-suv. Hope they can make enough cars to fill the demand .

Lyric is great Bang for your buck is amazing. But getting one is almost impossible. They are barely making any. It’s pathetic. GM really messed up the roll out on all electric vehicles. I ordered a polestar 3. It’s way more money, but sportier and a bit more “premium”. $115, 000 after tax (Canadian).

looks bloaty. in some of your shots the cars shows body roll. looks heavy. looks like a funeral car. your reviews normally sounds objective. I noticed in this one though a bit of biased; sort of sponsored

I looked at one a couple of months ago, two issues for me, yes those door handles are an issue and the door to the charging port felt very flimsy and the door opening down means it's going to take hits. Loved the fact that there are physical buttons for the HVAC.
