It is amazing how cheap cars are in the US. For the same MX-5 we Europeans pay about $45.000. Nearly twice as much. We also pay about $10 a gallon for our petrol...

So you begin the video standing next to a chevy spark. Then you failed to put it on the list lmao!!! Spark and fiesta look the best out of this group

That Impala shares a lot with Vauxhall, Holden. Opel. And i would not wonder if it there is a Korean brand on the Impala platform with a GM under the hood. I think it is sad that so many cars no longer have a identity, it is all a grey drag of GM cars to day.

I own the Dodge Avenger... I spend way too much money in gas (2.4 4 cyl. engine) so i don't know how this is cheap lol but to be fair i only paid 15k NEW in December so no complaints on the MSRP

Some of these fuel consumption figures are ridiculous 20-30 mpg. I get 54mpg from my Citroen Berlingo

As I watch this, I am wondering what was their criteria for the "best cheap new cars of 2013" list. Also, I feel some of the cars are not the "best" cheap cars, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, I'm a little confused as well. This list seems all over the place. Not saying the choices were bad either--it just seems sporadic.

What about Scion FR-S? Also, the Prius c is better than Honda Insight.Last, but not least, the Miata should not be in this list.

What? No chevy spark? It deserves to be on this list since it is the cheapest car in America and offers more bang for your buck like navigation, Bluetooth phone pairing, leather seats etc.

Less reliable though. The cars in these video are new, have good fuel economy and are quite reliable considering they are 2013 models. But I do agree on the street cred part.. The cars in the video won't get you any street cred lol
