Join in the conversation with #BBRFWebinar!
Each month The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) hosts a Meet the Scientist Webinar featuring a researcher discussing the latest findings related to mental illness.
In November, 2017, BBRF featured the research of Dr. Stephen R. Marder of the University of California, Los Angeles. He presented RESEARCH UPDATES: IMPROVING FUNCTIONING IN SCHIZOPHRENIA?
Dr. Marder discussed how patients with psychotic illnesses are usually interested in treatments that relieve active symptoms and improve their abilities to function at work, school, and in their everyday lives. He provided an overview of recent research on pharmacological and non-pharmacological approaches to improving functioning.
Remember 100% of your donation for research is invested in research grants thanks to the generosity of two family foundations that cover Foundation operating expenses.
We encourage you to share this presentation! #BBRFWebinar
