Does it not ask you to run the shortcut? It makes me click a notification to run it and it completely defeats the purpose of the automation.

Thanks for the walk though very easy to follow. For the automations where you’re turning something on like in the orientation lock if you click the open and close of the app, than use toggle instead of the turn it does it all in one automation so you don’t need to create a second one.

BT automations won't run automatically though, so they aren't really automatic, which makes it only kinda helpful. Typical apple kinda working

Useful but Apple only allows certain apps and this diminishes utility. In the control panel you can allow automation of “untrusted “ apps, but it requires a couple of confirmation taps when the app is triggered by the automation. No way to shut these clicks off. I would like to start a GPS mapping app when I turn on my Garmin and it connects by Bluetooth, and it’s just faster without the automation. Apple needs to get over their issues with 3rd party developers because their customers have and might switch to Android. Thanks for your video.
