Some of my more niche favorites:
Neighborhood war: 3-team perpetual shooter (i.e no particular goals or win conditions) that is pretty simple but actually quite mechanically interesting
Chaos town, formerly ragdoll grounds: ffa perpetual shooter, similar to neighborhood war in terms of gameplay but with more effort put into balancing.
Defend the statue (specifically eras of conflict): unfortunately pretty dead horde defence game, theres usually only 1 active server and thats only for like 6 hours each day.
Tycoon rng: the only good rng game imo. Pretty much exactly as the title implies, its an rng game but you roll for droppers/upgraders in a tycoon as opposed to like auras or whatever

The absolute most fun, interactive, interesting games always tend to have very little players. This is living proof that even if you're a talented developer, if you aren't making kids games for 5 year olds, you won't make it anywhere on the Roblox platform.

2:31 tbh I like how it hasn’t been updated, it keeps the game classic and it’s still super fun. Other classic games aren’t that fun anymore because of their updates (Royale High, Flicker, etc). So it’s nice seeing a classic still being an amazing game despite no updates

I totally expected the mentioned game at the start to be In Plain Sight 2. It’s pretty unknown, back when I last played, it only had 60 to 200 active players at a time. VERY good game! Fun gameplay loop, grinding for new characters is fun (until you only have a couple outlaws left to get) and it has a variety of maps and events.

9:40 May I mention ONE (and only one) negative I have about build a boat: They removed the secret items (where there was a secret item in a chest you could get in each stage, like a pair of teleporters, or a red rocket engine or a magic staff weapon). Now you can still find them and do the secrets, however you won’t get the chests or the items. A real shame. Now they just give you a ton of chest items (literally just the chests, nothing in them or anything) based on how far you got. They are COMPLETELY USELESS.

thought i'd contribute and add some of my favorites:

item asylum: you might know this one. it's not for everyone, but i personally enjoy it. it's a really goofy, silly randomizer fighting game that doesn't take itself serious, but also does at the same time and i can really respect that. you spawn in with a random melee, ranged, and miscellaneous, kill as many people as you can, die, respawn, and the loop continues. basically every item and map is a reference to a meme, game, or piece of media. it has almost infinite replayability cause it's just plain old fun! plus, it still gets updates to this day, so you'll never know when you'll get to see new content.

husk: this game is absolutely insane, dude. it's a huge shame that it only has like 20 players at a time, because it is super well made. the animations are really smooth, the gui and pixel artwork looks very nice, it's unbelievable i tell you. it's a fighting game with intricate mechanics like critical strikes, parries, special moves, and more. the fighting feels incredibly gratifying to play, there's nothing like landing a nice parry and counter combo. additionally, the community is usually very honorable and doesn't have the problem that most fighting games have where you'll be fighting someone, and another random person comes along and tries to gang up on you. most players will respect the duel between you and someone else, and will wait for one of you to die before jumping into a fight. hell, they'll even let you use the healing items you get after a kill, so you'll both be on equal-ish grounds. i honestly wish more people would play it because it deserves more players.

decaying winter: i'll be honest i've played this game like once because my friend wanted to play it, and i died after like 15 minutes but the graphics look nice and the gameplay looks pretty intriguing. i haven't really caught a grasp on the combat or mechanics or anything though it's kinda complex

the battle bricks: a roblox recreation of a mobile game called "battle cats". genuinely fun gameplay, it's nice to see your units demolish the enemy base. has a little bit of an issue with difficulty spikes, tho. i find myself getting frustrated at a boss i was sure i would be capable of beating, considering how easy the previous levels were, and having to go back and grind said previous levels. also, it has gambling mechanics (yikes) where you're basically opening up a pokemon card pack and hoping for a good unit. even then though, the game is really really nice visually and you can tell they poured a lot of passion into this game. would recommend.

i wanna test the game: well, its actual name is "i wanna be the bloxxer", but that's the final product's name, and right now the only demo is called "i wanna test the game". right now the game is in development, but so far it looks really good. the graphics are retro-roblox styled, so it'll be a little bit of a treat for any veterans out there. quick warning though, it looks like a regular obby at first, but it is a troll/rage game. it will pull a lava brick out of nowhere and make you start the entire level over again. if you get frustrated easily, i recommend against playing this game.

manic monolith: yet another game still in development. this one is a 3d, roblox recreation of a game on steam called "pizza tower". i thoroughtly enjoyed pizza tower, so when i found out about manic monolith, i had to check it out. so far there's only like one level and it's kinda bare bones, but i'm sure if we give it some time it'll come out nicely. the movement mechanics are kinda buggy tho

thy hood: bro i'm telling you right now, this game sucks soooo freaking bad. it is laughable how absolutely garbage this game is. the models are crappy, the guns are horrible to aim, the bleeding mechanic feels SUPER unfair. you will play for like 45 minutes just to die to some peasant with a shank and lose it all immediately. the only reason i like it is because i hate myself. please for the love of god do not play this game it will break you like glass

Fantastic frontier has been expecting an update for almost 7 years now, and i'm very happy that pretty much the most underated game got shouted out by a youtuber for like the 5th time.

I have a couple suggestions for you to check out. For example:
-Regretevator, a unique Roblox game based on the normal elevator, except like 100x better.
-dingus, Despite the name, it is a high quality fun Roblox game where there are two roles, hunter and hider. Hunters try to eliminate the hider, who blend into the crowd of NPCs and do task, while avoiding being detected.
-Running from the internet, Basically Evade, except weapons and game modes.
-Generic roleplay game, Chaos.
I reccomend checking them out, they are amazing.
