ok cool but here's a simple brownie recipe:

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8 inch (20x20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.

3. Whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth and combined. Add the melted butter and mix well.

4. *Sift in the cocoa powder*, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until fully incorporated. The batter should be thick.

5. Optional: Fold in the chocolate chips or nuts if using.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.

7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. If you prefer fudgy brownies, bake for a shorter time; for more cake-like brownies, bake a little longer.

8. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

Hey caylus I know you have been testing the scariest Brookhaven myth.I know the lore. So a girl named Madison was a little girl, she had a mean mother and was achoholic.Her father went for millitary work.Maddie was left alone with her mother and the mother was strict with her.A war started to happen but Maddie's father survived, she was very happy until, the father went through a lot and during the war, so he visited Maddie for the last time and said "Maddie if I die, I will be under a lake"and during the war a bullet shot him but luckily he survived because it was soft but there was unexpectedly there was poison in the bullet too so he died a few days later. Maddie was heartbroken and since Maddie had to sleep in the attic in her house she visited the lake near her house every day.Maddie's mother had a mean plan, her mother saw that Maddie like to visit the lake every day her mother killed Maddie and threw her in the lake and ever since that day, Maddie's mother called the lake 'the Madison lake'.So that is why the lake is called Madison and in that house in the attic there is Maddie's doll and building blocks.I don't know if it is true but it is the story of my little sister ancestor.
