Applying for Residency with Pending/Missing USMLE Exam Scores

As the 2020-21 application season is approaching, many candidates are asking whether or not to start applying for residency waiting for a pending USMLE exam.

Dr. Zach Musa and Dr. Mohamed Jibawi have suggestions for applicants with this situation. USMLE step 3 exams was also part of this discussion.

Please Note: Applications submitted on or before Oct. 21 will display an application date of “October 21” to programs. Applications submitted after Oct. 21 will be date-stamped in real-time.

I had a question for Dr Jibawi. He mentioned in a prior video that he delivers babies in his practice and I wanted to know typically how many he would do monthly in his practice so I have an idea of FM practice...?

Hi, I am goin to sit my step 2 ck in a month and step 1 mid/end of january 2023. ( i know step 1 date is risky but i wish can take it earlier). Will I be able to apply using Step 2 scores only for this year?

i want to apply for this season, I don't have step 1 yet I'm due in oct CK i have an attempt and CS pass with YOG of 9 years but with active clinical experience during that should I apply now or after my scores? my LOR PS and rest of the application is done
