We arrived in the port city of Heroica Veracruz watch us head out into the city and give our first impressions of the place.

We absolutely loved the feel of the city Veracruz is seriously underrated its beautiful and the people were so warm couldnt have been any nicer. Not once did we have a bad experience. Even the military were great sports!

We also try some local street food in a tiny alleyway a local took us too we asked on the street!

Veracruz is unbelievable 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽

Love Veracruz! Went there for the first time earlier this year! It does feel si Caribbean compared to the rest of Mexico!
If you go towards the mountains in cordoba and Orizaba, there’s an Italian town called Colonia Manuel González and a lot of the goodies are in Huatusco where they have amazing mortadella tacos and if you go north towards the Emerald Coast (Nautla) there are some French villages in San Rafael and Jicaltepec where they have retained a lot of their French culture too! Yanga is the oldest free region of the Americas which was freed by an African prince that was brought to Mexico as a slave!

I have just one suggestion/request: slower camera moves. We watch on our big TV, and sometimes the fast sweeps back and forth are slightly nausea-inducing.

Since you're in Veracruz you should check out the town of CATEMACO. It is well know for wizards, witches, and spirit healers. There's a legend or myth i don't know if it's true. But they say 1 day of the year everyone around the world who practice witchcraft, magic, or all those things come to this town to mingle/socialize. They have diff sanctuaries or caves where you can see how ppl go in and do rituals there. If you search 🔍 in YouTube. You will see and find more info on it . Just search brujería(witchcraft) en CATEMACO Veracruz.
