Picking up ten years after Revenge of the Sith on the desert sands of Tatooine, the series’ two-episode premiere was filled with nostalgia, action, and easter eggs galore. As others have mentioned, Ewan McGregor's daughter Esther-Rose McGregor plays Tetha Grig, which is why her line to him, "I was someone's daughter once, too" is the perfect Easter egg.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm really missing Carrie Fisher right now. I would love to hear her commentary on the little girl playing Leia. I bet she would love her.

Hopefully Obi-Wan learned a particular set of skills from Quigon Jinn to recover Leia. This season should be called Taken 4.

I really like how this series will probably be an adventure with Leia and Obi Wan. It explains the relationship in a new hope and also shows that leia is super force sensitive and has been using it throughout her entire political career without even knowing it

Don’t get the other comments’ hate for the show, I freaking loved it! So lovely to see Ewan back as Obi Wan, little Leia was adorable, the Inquisitors were intimidating, I could go on! Looking forward to the rest of the series!

The green jacket little Leia had on looked like a reference to Return of the Jedi to me, it was so similar to the one worn in that movie!!

The new Obi Wan Theme, is heavy inspired by Richard Wagner’s Leitmotif for Siegfried the Dragonslayer from his “Ring Cycle” Operas!

After the surprise twist in including young Leia, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we're going to get an Aksoka cameo later on as a way to boost Obi-Wan's spirits and help him get to the mind space he'll need to be in for A New Hope. And such a reunion could also include a moment where Obi-Wan almost tells her the truth about Anakin, but stops himself from doing so in order to avoid tarnishing Ahsoka's memories of her former master (since canonically she doesn't learn this truth until Rebels season 2).

Not understanding where all the hate comments are coming from, love the feel of a down on his luck Ronin. It seems obvious to me that they are going to give that strange old hermit Ben, his arch from defeated former master space wizard, to badass mindtricking arm slicer we all know and love from the OG Star Wars. Give the show time.

The showdown between Obi-Wan and Reva in the shadows was a good homage to the Vader/Luke showdown in Empire (and Return) as well as the common theme of fear/thoughts betraying Jedi.

How does Reva know Anakin = Vader? That isn't something Vader let's out. I hope they show how she came upon that info. It's in the Jedi Archives, but the Emperor controls those during this time and doesn't share.
