I played music live for 20 years endless venues and when you watch this it makes me feel like wow this dude is on another level or planet... I mean who can sing like that, write music like that, and play like that... very very few in the world! I saw him live and was extremely impressed. It's shocking how few people know about him... when he's so insanely good...

I saw Gary Clark Jr on LPB, Austin City Blues one Saturday night. This was the beginning of my love for him. He is a unique musician and singer. I love his style. He can master any genre of music. I want to see him play in person! Maybe my children and grands will gift me this wish this year. What a guy!! ❤❤

Something I really enjoy about soulful players such as Gary is that he takes his time to approach solo parts, leaving room for the rest of the band to be heard and build up the climax for the song. The sort of "silent" moments help you feel the real beauty of what he plays.
