Your videos are excellent because they start with explaining the fundamentals of the wiring and then continue “downstream” with further descriptions of the wiring system and various relays, switches, etc. Very helpful.

Strange how reseting the timer, got my bottom oven to work, the top oven and hob worked after the power cut, but bottom oven went into this limp mode.

my oven would start heating up then stop I'd worked around the problem by turning the temperature dial up again, worked for a while but now trips my RCD on the consumer unit. does this sound like its just the heating element that has blown and is grounding now?

I've just figured this out with my Westinghouse. Not a " fault ", I would say it's a big design fault which could cost owners a lot of money if they don't have any knowledge. Yes, it is easy to reset but the manufacturer could have prevented either with a small battery backup, which would last a few years, or even a capacitor.

The electrical oven gets no power and also the light in the oven does not function. Please could you advice on what the problem might be and how to fix it.

i had a chicken in the oven at 375 degrees and after 20 minutes, i was in the living room, i heard what sounded like electricity

I have an electric oven Baumatic rom600ss. After a power surge the oven it won't start up, i set the clock from flashing on manual but after that when i set the temperature and the gril nothing happens no light in the oven no red or green light on the pannel.

My cooker has 3 buttons - mode + and when I'm trying to set the clock it's not letting me get to the clock it's just flashing off and back to 00.00 which means my oven still won't go on and I've put the model number into Google and downloaded the correct manual
