The state abbreviation for Iowa is 'IA', not 'IO'. Also, Weaubleau is pronounced as "Wah-blow". I used to attend school there. There is a funny little saying that helps people remember how to pronounce it and it is, "I blow, you blow, we all blow for Weaubleau."

Why can't the "eggs" just be simple chert concretions? They occur all the time in limestone. Are there specific geochemical signatures that tie them to an impact or to having been in outer space?

Seems likely to me the whole structure could be giant sinkholes in a karst area. Where are the tektites, shattercones, PGE anomalies? Why was the breccia not shown? Is it just broken limestone reef slope debris? Or debris from sinkhole collapses?
