This is the most informative video on this subject by far. I was trying to decide between the 210 large curved or the 210 medium straight - and you sold me on the straight blade. With its ability to change blade angles, the straight 210 seems ideal for cutting logs on the ground, as you mentioned. Also, the two of you presenting beats the hell out of watching some dude saw through a log ;)

Thank you very much. I don't understand why Silky doesn't put the second notch for the second arretation-angle on all on it's sawblades. As far as my research is correct, the small medium tooth Gomboy has it, the bigger Gomboys not, but the medium tooth Bigboy has it again (but is too heavy for my purposes).
A medium tooth straight blade Gomboy 270 or 300 with two notches on the blade would be what I need ...

You gals are greatly informative! This is the second I am watching tonight to help me choose but I am in the U.S. and not sure if I have to find a retailer here to get what I think is best but I think I need two blades for sure.

I think by the end of the video, the black handle due to the all around blade, may be better than carrying two blades? Two being one for green wood (large tooth) and one for dry wood (fine tooth).
I.also tend to like the curved blade as the position I will find myself in may be hunched over it rather than in front of myself.

Thanks for all your great videos.
Please can you tell me if the blades are interchangeable between the straight and curved saws? I.e. can you fit a curved blade in the black handled saw?

Great video ladies, thank you for all the info! So I'm going to buy one for hiking, It'll go in the back pack for cutting dry firewood for campfires. Medium blade seems to be the choice then. I do like the two position setting on the handle of the 210, but prefer the slightly thicker blade on the 240 with less chance of snapping a blade. Based on your experience and customer feedback, what would you recommend?
